We can do all the research we want, and understand exactly what we want to do, however, most of the time we are overwhelmed with what we know and are too concerned about messing it up. This is when we just end up not making a post. Well, we have great news, if you keep on reading, you can figure out how exactly to get past this particular roadblock and become an experienced Social Media Marketer.

Set Up a Centralized Dashboard for Your Team

Why is it so important for your company to have a dashboard for Social Media Marketing? Well to figure that question out, first, we must know what a Social Media Dashboard is. According to the article posted on So Trender, a dashboard is one location where you can connect all of the major KPIs for your social media. So essentially, a dashboard is a centralized location or a platform that has all of your social media channels and shows you the data of those social media platforms. So as you can tell, this might be a convenient thing to have for your company, but not a need. However, if you realize that you might not be the only person that is posting on social media, or maybe your boss even wants to stay informed or see how the social media is doing. Having a dashboard will make life easier for the company because having multiple users on one account is tricky for the team, sometimes the social media accounts will not allow this. So not only will life be easier if you have one set up, but it will help with access by many people.

Start Posting Your Social Media

This may be the most nerve-racking part of Social Media Marketing. What if you say something wrong, what if my boss does not like what I posted. Is it legal to say this? There are so many questions that you can ask yourself or make yourself second guess. A great article found on Orbit Media has many tips for posting on Social Media. Some of my favorites described in the article are to make sure you post a Headline. This will help with the algorithm search on social media platforms. Hashtags go with Headlines, however, hashtags can get clicked on which will help with putting your posts out there and reaching a larger audience. Visuals really help with making the post-pop. This will help with people scrolling and stopping just to see what the visual looks like. That one visual might be worth the post at the end of the day. There are so many other great tips within that Article, but also you can go to our blog page and find many more tips and tricks on Social Media Posting.

Measure Social Media Performance

This is such an important thing to do if you want to see how well the Social Media Performance is. It also might be pretty tricky because you might not know what to measure or even what the measurements mean. The article from Sprout Social has some great pointers and they also have some of the most important measurements mentioned in the article. I will point out a few of my favorites here but if you want more, check out the article from there or continue here to check out some more on our website! First off, I believe the easiest to calculate and track is the engagement. This is how many comments, likes, shares, and clicks. Another big one is reach or impressions, this will help to see if your post is being seen or not. My big last one is conversions. How is your company's website performing from the traffic of Social Media? These are three big metrics that can help you when you are starting but also throughout your time on Social Media!
